With the history of Mathematics timeline as our backdrop, this session will explore Dr. Montessori’s principle of indirect and direct preparation for advanced work. You will be sure to enjoy this fun session using all 6 boxes of the constructive triangles to reconstruct plane figures, the star diagrams and diaphragms. We will cover preparation for the area of figures and prove the interior angles of any regular polygon. All this with ingenious, simplistic material! An audience participation workshop with opportunities for attendees to make resource samples. Geometry can be fun, the Montessori Way!
