In an emerging field of study, society is beginning to recognize the importance of comprehensive concussion management. Efforts have typically focused on returning to "play". However, return to school considerations are just as, if not more important. This session was offered at MPTC 2017, and since then, a new International Consensus on the Treatment of Concussions, as well as an updated Sideline Concussion Assessment Tool (SCAT5) have been released. My goal is will provide coaches and teachers with resources to: recognize and monitor concussion and post-concussion symptoms; modify programming (in the classroom, gym, or athletics) for concussed students; and assist in facilitating a full recovery. Often we focus solely on the things that injured persons should not do; I hope to answer the question: My student is injured/concussed, what CAN they do?
